Neil Armstrong

Neil Armstrong had an Lunar space mission . He went to the space rocket and flew up to the moon. He is the commander of space rocket apollo 11. It was 1969 When he stepped on the moon he said  “One step for man” “One big giant leap for mankind” as every one of america thinks he’s a hero but Neil say he doesn't want  to be a hero.



Neil Armstrong is now a monumental historic event. There is a statue of him too. Now that he has passed away people will remember for mankind and generations. America mourns the loss of their lost hero.

Smoking Is Bad by Piriniha and Melvin

If you smoke you have a greater chance of dying faster. Also do not persuade people to smoke or else they will be a follower.  My advice to you is to never start smoking.


Smoking is bad for you because it has more than 4000 chemicals in every cigarette which can affect your health.   These chemical can cause different diseases such as cancer and heart problems which give you a greater chance of dying. If you smoke then you will affect your children's health as well because they might already have a sickness and the smoke will make them sicker.

Smoking is also hard to quit because it is addictive. If you try to stop smoking you will probably stress a lot. When you first smoke you get a sense of pleasure but trying to quit will make you very desperate.

Smoking also affects your appearance. If you smoke very young you will grow up pretty ugly because it gives you smelly breath. It also dries up your skin so you will look older.  

If you rather like smoking than eating vegetables you will have a bad life wasting your money on smokes. You could spend about $100 a week if you smoke a whole pack a day.

Teenagers smoke to look cool. Why do they need it? They need it because once they start, their mind is going to say I need lots more than one, I need a thousand. When your mind says something  like needing smokes it's going to want more. Teenagers need to say no if their friends are trying to persuade them to smoke.

The audience are trying to hold their breath as the weightlifter muscle are straining. The man is struggling from lifting the heavy weights. He is trying to focus about what he is doing it for. He is doing it for gold. His arms are fool with veins and he’s trying to balance the bar of the weights. He’s imagining that he is th strongest in the world. He say to himself do never give up

Joshua Iosefo,

Joshua Iosefo, is set as a prefect at Mt Roskill Grammar. He wrote an inspirational speech called Brown Brother. It was the first time he performed it in school. The person who videoed it was his friend Rashad.



This video had a message to it, and it was telling the brown people especially to stop believing into stereotypes because they are not true. His speech relates to some messages that we have at our school here such as, Strive to Succeed, Champions Never Give Up and much much more.




His friend that put the video on Youtube. Yeah well Cable Live saw it and he asked if he wanted to be on 3 News so he said yes. It was the first time he performed in front of a Television.

Matisse and picasso

Picasso was born on 25 october 1881. He was famous because of his drawings. He's famous because his pictures look different because when they're far away he'd draw them small and when they're close up he drew them big or on the sides. They look funny. So I think he combines them to make it look cool.


Matisse was born on 31 december 1869. He wasn’t just an oil painter he did cut out papers too. His teacher said to him he would never learn how to draw. But then his work started to increase. Then his teacher was inspired.



Did you know how to contrast two painting? The weeping woman and the girl with the hat, show that Picasso and Matisse uses contrasting and vibrant colours.
